Guido Justo's

Italian professional tennis player Camila Giorgi was born on 30 December 1991. Besides being the No.1 Italian tennis player, she has also had a career-high singles ranking of world number 26. 

Giorgi made a debut at the Grand Slam and main-draw in the 2011 Wimbledon Championships, where she reached the fourth round. She got her first WTA Tour title in 2014 and made it for the first time to the Grand Slam quarterfinals at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships.

Camila Giorgi is the daughter of Jewish descent father, Sergio Giorgi and Italian mother Claudia Gabriella Fullone - a fashion designer. Her father introduced her to tennis when she was five years old, and he has been coaching her all along. While her dad is coaching her, Giorgi’s mother designs outfits for matches. Both parents have been supportive of her career and are always proud of her. She was also coached by Nick Bollettieri in 2000 for seven months.

Giorgi has two brothers, Leandro, an actor and Amadeus, a footballer, and one sister Antonela who perished in a car accident. 

Hobbies and Interests of Giorgi

Giorgi was in a short romantic relationship with Giacomo Maccini back in 2016 before things fell apart. The 29-year old pro player’s favourite animals are dogs, and she’s in love with the colour blue. She likes cricket and tennis, and she’s a big fan of Novak Djokovic. 

Other hobbies of Giorgi are listening to music, and following UFC matches. She’s interested in partnering with her mother in opening a tennis line business.
