About Tina Cvetkovic

The tennis ace from Kazakhstan, Elena, was born in Moscow, Russia. She and her sister got into sports activities at a very young age. The siblings first took up ice skating and then went gymnastics together. Elena was thinking about pursuing one of these activities as a professional career, but her height became a concern. She was too tall to participate in any of these activities professionally. Hence, at the mere age of six, she was introduced to tennis by her father. After this, there was no looking back for her!

Elena started receiving appropriate training from several skilled coaches. Her initial career began with the ITF Junior Circuit at the age of 14. She participated in various tournaments, including US Open, Australian Open, and French Open, and held No. 3 during her junior career.

Elena represented her birth country, Russia, from 2013 to 2018. Further, in June 2018, she gained the citizenship of Kazakhstan and started to play for this government. As for now, nothing has changed, and Elena continues to defend the honour of the eastern country.

This young lady has reached the finals of several WTA tours. But she has two titles on the top level. In February 2020, she achieved a ranking of world No. 17, which is the highest in her career.

Furthermore, she got up to 15 scholarships from various US universities. To focus on her tennis career, Elena decided to let go of her studies. Currently, she keeps training to ace during her tournaments.
