Aliaksandra Sasnovich is a professional tennis star from Belarus. She was born on March 22 1994, in the capital city of Belarus, Minsk.

Tennis Influences 

Aliaksanda's major influence was her parents, who were involved in different sports activities. Her mother played basketball regularly. Her father was both a hockey and tennis player. In fact, he was the one who introduced her to tennis when she was 9 years old. 

Later on, she has participated in various events, including Fed Cup representing Belarus, ITF Women's Circuit, Miami Open, Madrid Open, Wimbledon Championships and so on. Interestingly, she has seen more success in the ITF Women's Circuit tours compared to other events.

She likes the Stuttgart Open and US Open the most among all the tournaments. She loves to play on indoor hardcourt.

In the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, she was able to reach the third round by defeating Serena Williams. She claims it is her dad's dream for her to play against Serena Williams at Wimbledon. In June 2021, she not only got this opportunity but also defeated this tennis ace.

She speaks fluent English, Russian, Belarusian, along with a little bit of French. Her net worth stands at US$4 million, all amassed from her tennis prize.
