Federico Coria's

Federico Coria is a baby brother to Guillermo Sebastián Coria, the former World No. 3 tennis player and 2004 Roland Garros finalist. Growing up, Federico idolized his older brother every time he watched him on TV. On March 15 2021, Coria attained his highest career ATP singles ranking of number 82. His career doubles ranking is at number 275, achieved in August 2017.

His tennis career started as a hobby where he played with his friends or against a wall. However, this Argentinian tennis player moved to Bueno Aires at 15 to pursue his dream. He turned pro in 2010 but only came into the limelight in 2012 following his first win of ITF Futures Tour. This two-handed backhand has also won one ATP Challenger Tour doubles title during the Campeonato Internacional de Tenis de Campinas in 2016. In 2019, he won ATP Challenger singles during the Savannah Challenger Tournament.

Other significant achievements include getting to the quarterfinals of the 2019 Wimbledon Singles, Third Round of French Open and Second Round of US Open in 2020. Early in 2021, Federico reached the First Round of the Australian Open in both Singles and Doubles.

Federico was born on March 9 1992, in Rosario, Argentina. His father, Oscar Coria, was a tennis coach, while his older brother Guillermo is now a retired professional tennis player. 

Once Federico confirmed that if he was not a tennis player, he would be a footballer. He is open about his relationship and has been dating his longtime girlfriend, Firenze.
