Santiago Rodriguez Taverna's

Wang Qiang was born on 14 January 1992 and is a pro tennis player from China. So far, she has managed to win one singles title on the WTA 125K series, two singles titles on the WTA Tour, and one doubles title and thirteen singles titles on the ITF Circuit. 

Regarding Grand Slam tournaments, her best result was at the 2019 US Open, where she managed to reach the quarterfinals. Her career-highest ranking came in September 2019 when she reached the World No. 12 position, and currently, she is ranked No. 86 as of October 2021.

Tennis Influences

Wang was born in Tianjin, and she started playing tennis at the age of 9 in her hometown. She is currently working with her trainer, Pat Cash, and has formerly worked with Thomas Drouet and Peter McNamara, which were her biggest tennis influences. 

Her tennis idol, while she was growing up, was Steffi Graf, as she was highly inspired when she watched her play.

Hobbies and Interest of Qiang

Qiang has a couple of hobbies in addition to tennis, but her love for the sport remains uncontested. She has claimed that her favourite surface is hard, and her favourite tennis tournament is the US Open. 

As of October 2021, Wang is unmarried but reportedly not single. Although they’re not very open to the public as a pair, Wang is allegedly dating tennis player Zhou Xin Mu. In addition to tennis, Wang likes to spend time in the gym and exercise.
