Rebecca Peterson is a Swedish tennis player, actively representing her country since the age of 13. She was born on August 6 1995, in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Rebecca has won 2 Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles titles at Jiangxi Open and Tianjin Open, both in China. She also holds 1 WTA doubles title, which she achieved in 2015. She has also won 11 singles and 6 doubles ITF titles. 

Tennis Influences

Rebecca says that her family often played tennis during her childhood. She used to watch her family and other people play tennis in the courtyard with her friends. And as you might guess, she absolutely loved the game.

Watching her dad and sister playing tennis encouraged her to pursue the game then. Later on, with immense practice, she became a pro at the game and started playing junior-level ITF circuit from the age of 13.  

While growing up, Rebecca also watched tennis matches of Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters. She has surely enjoyed and picked up some tennis skills during these matches. She is currently coached by her father, Mart Peterson. 

Rebecca prefers an aggressive style of gaming and uses her forehand predominantly.

Hobbies and Interests of Peterson

Rebecca loves to hang out with her friends and family whenever she gets some time off tennis. She is married. However, her husband looks like a private person and not much is known about him. The only evidence of her marriage is present in her Insta account, where she has given us a sneak peek of the ceremony.

Peterson has amassed wealth up to US$ 2,024,091 through her tennis ventures. However, her net worth is said to be around US$6 million, according to some sources.
