Johanna Konta was born on 17 May 1991 and is a British pro tennis player, though she had previously represented her homeland, Australia, until 2012. In her career so far, she has won four singles titles on the WTA Tour and also eleven singles with four doubles on the ITF Women’s Circuit.Â
Her best singles world ranking is No. 4, which came in July 2017, and she’s currently ranked as No. 78 as of October 2021. Regarding Konta’s biggest successes, she managed to reach the semifinals of the Wimbledon, Australian Open, and Roland Garros.

Konta is the daughter of Gabriella, a successful dentist and Gabor, who is a hotel manager. Early in their life, her parents had migrated from Hungary separately and met in Australia.Â
Johanna was first introduced to tennis by her parents when she was 8 years of age, and she immediately fell in love with it. Some years later, she started to play tennis at an afterschool program, and this is where her tennis foundation was laid.
Steffi Graf was Konta’s biggest tennis idol while she was growing up, and her best memory is representing the UK at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
