About Alejandro Tabilo

Alejandro Tabilo is a Chilean tennis player, born on June 2, 1997, in Toronto, Canada. His current singles ranking is 166, and he is a left-handed player who uses a two-handed backhand, and his coach is Guillermo Gomez. He made his ATP Tour debut at the 2020 Australian Open. He competes for Chile in the Davis Cup, where he has a 1-1 win-loss record regarding his boastful achievements. In his opening match against Germany, he faced Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies in a doubles rubber.

Tabilo's childhood nickname is Jano. Not being particularly fond of sports, his parents Ricardo and Maria own a cleaning company. He also has a brother named Sebastian. Alejandro began playing tennis because of his brother, who he saw as an idol who was already playing. Moreover, he is pretty loving of his family and regards his father as his hero.

Tabilo left his home at the very young age of 13 to train in Florida. Now, he is a seasoned veteran with quite the experience. His favourite shot is drop shot in-game, his favourite surface is clay, and his most entertaining tournament is Wimbledon.

Being an avid traveller, Tabilo has admitted that Rome is his favourite city when on tour. In his childhood, he idolized his fellow left-handed player Rafa Nadal while he was growing up. Other than tennis, Alejandro also enjoys swimming and football. His best quality is kindness, while he says that his worst one is being constantly distracted.
