Anhelina Kalinina is a professional tennis player born on 7 February 1997 in Nova Kakhovka, Ukraine. The 24-year-old superstar acquired her career-high ranking of world number 95 on 12 July 2021. Kalinina also bagged the WTA doubles ranking world number 196 on 15 July 2019. 

Additionally, she partnered with Elizaveta Kulichkova in 2014, and the duo won the girl’s doubles tournament at the Australian Open. In 2018, she made a good debut at the Grand Slam match after beating her opponent three sets but lost in the second round. Although she lost in the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, she won the Montpellier W60 and Contrexéville W100 trophies.

Kalinina has been a big fan of tennis since her childhood. She started playing tennis at the age of six. She favours hard surfaces and trains in Trnava, Slovakia, at the Empire Academy, under Vladimir Platenik. 

Kalinina enjoyed a successful junior career where she bagged various titles, including the girl’s doubles at the 2014 Australian Open. She played the first event of her career at ITF/Antalya 19-UR in 2012. Currently, her official sponsors are Lotto and Yonex.

Kalinina is one of the celebs who loves and values privacy. She has kept everything about her personal life very private, except for her birthday and place of birth.
