Diego Sebastian Schwartzman's

Argentine tennis player Diego Sebastian Schwartzman was born on August 16 1992. With 4 ATP singles titles, he held the place of the world no. 8 in 2020.

Nicknamed Peque, he began his journey with tennis from the age of 7. He is named after the renowned football ace, Diego Maradona, who is also from Argentina.

• The tennis player has seen some hardships during the early days of his life. The lad used to sell bracelets made out of rubber that had logos of eminent football teams. This was to cover his travel expenses for the tournaments.
• Moreover, he used to travel alone for the tennis tours from the mere age of 13. 
• But he has had some excellent mentors to train along. These included Juan Monaco, the former world no. 10 and Maximo Gonzalez.
• Currently, Diego is living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

• At the moment, he is together with the top model Eugenia De Martino.
• Eugenia is also a citizen of Argentina, and the model has over 100,000 Instagram followers. She even has worked on an entertaining Netflix show called “Go! Live Your Way”. 
• Diego has tied up with Fila and Head, two Italian sports goods companies who endorse the player.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Diego has worked to raise charity for the Red Cross Argentine. Along with Paulo Dybala, an Argentina football player, he organised the celebrity tournament FIFA20, which helped in this charity work.
