About Raymond Sarmiento

Alison Riske is a famous American tennis player born July 3rd 1990, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The achievement of her career-high singles ranking of world number 18 came on November 4th 2019.

Riske won her first WTA Tour singles titles in October 2014 at the Tianjin Open. She has also bagged other popular titles, including two WTA singles, nine singles titles, and one title on the ITF Women's circuit.

Tennis Influence

Riske has been a big fan of tennis since her childhood. She is the daughter of Carol, a teacher and Albert, an FBI Investigator. Riske started playing tennis at the age of 3 years when her father took her out to the court. Both her sister, Sarah, and brother, Dan, played tennis at different levels at the colleges.

In her early years, she watched and admired the passion of Monica Seles. She began professional tennis playing in 2009, where she participated in the ITF Circuit. Riske's excellent skills on the court earned her a tennis scholarship to Vanderbilt University in summer 2009.

Finally, she has had several coaches, including Janice Irwin, Yves Boulais, and her sister Sarah.

Hobbies and Interest of Riske

If you don't find Riske on the court, you will find her busy writing in her journal, reading books or spending precious time with her family. She is happily married to Stephen Amritraj though they don't have a baby yet.
