American tennis player Jack Sock started his journey with tennis when he was 8 years old. It was his mother’s racquet that fascinated the little lad to begin playing the game. With his huge potential, Jack was moved to Kansas to attain the necessary training at the Mike Wolf Tennis Academy. This was at the age of 12 when he began professional-level training. 
At the age of 16 and further, Jack played for the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior level tournaments. 
After this, he entered senior-level in 2009 by playing Futures tournaments. In 2010, he commenced his first ATP tournament at Miami Masters. 
By 2013, Jack was on the list of top 100 players. He won the 2014 Wimbledon championship with his doubles partner Vasek Pospisil which helped Jack catapult among the top 10 rankings of ATP doubles. 
His career-high was seen during 2017 with a rank of No. 8 in singles. However, the very next year, he held the rank of No. 2 in doubles. This was a remarkable achievement in his career. 
While Jack plays singles amazingly well, his best achievements can be seen in his doubles plays. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Jack and Bethanie Mattek-Sands clinched a gold medal in the mixed doubles. Along with this, he also won a bronze medal with Steve Johnson in men’s doubles.  
Sock is also a fan of Kansas City Royals (MLB) and Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). Additionally, he enjoys golf during his leisure time. Jack married his partner Laura Little in 2020.
