<p>Born on May 19 1992, in Guernsey, Heather Watson is a British tennis pro. She has been a former British no.1 tennis player.&nbsp;</p><p>Heather has a total of 9 titles to her name until now. The mixed doubles title that she clinched at the 2016 Wimbledon Championship along with Henri Kontinen brought many accolades to her name. She became the first British woman player to grab the Grand Slam title after Jo Durie in 1991. Also, it is the first Wimbledon brought home after Durie in 1987.</p><h2><strong>Tennis Influences</strong></h2><p>Heather started playing tennis when she was 7 years old. Her official training started in Florida at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. She still gets her training from this academy.</p><p>Heather graduated high school in 2009 at Pendleton.
