Gianluca Mager is an Italian professional tennis player. He started by playing tennis casually at eight years before transitioning it to a professional career at 18.  
In 2020, Mager won the biggest win of his career, attaining number 4 Thiem at the Rio de Janeiro finals 2020. This made him the first qualifier in the 7-year tournament to reach the Rio de Janeiro final in 2020. Thus, as of April 2021, Gianluca is among the top ten Italian male singles tennis players.
Gianluca did not play ITF Junior Circuit as he only started playing professionally at 18 years. Thus, there are no records of his junior achievements. However, he had great support as his then-girlfriend Valentine Confalonieri, who was also a player, coached him.
Despite starting his profession at 18, Gianluca has incredible match records against players who ranked top ten. He also has match records against those who have been at number 1 in the various championships, including ATP World Tour, Davis Cup, and Grand Slam main draw matches.
Mager got his first singles ATP main draw win in Stockholm after playing against Pablo Andujar. He also beat world number 34, Casper Ruud, during the first round of the Rio Open in Brazil in 2020, reaching his first ATP Tour final.
Gianluca Mager was born on 1 December, 1994 in Sanremo, Italy. His parents aren’t involved in sports as they are an insurance agent and secretary. He also has a sister, Erika. Growing up, Mager looked up to Roger Federer, a successful tennis player. When not playing tennis, Gianluca watches football or a movie featuring batman.

Jannik Sinner is an Italian tennis player who currently holds the world rank of No. 17 at the ATP. His association with tennis began at the age of three, along with skiing. He was as good at skiing as at tennis. He, in fact, was one of the top junior skiers in Italy from age 8 to 12. During this time, he had started his training for skiing. However, his father directed him back to tennis. Finally, at the age of 13, Jannik decided to focus on his current activities. 
It was in 2016 when he began his ITF Junior Circuit. He did not manage much success in the junior category. But that did not stop him from entering ITF Men’s Circuit in 2018. While he played for Futures initially, he later got wild card entries for ATP Challenger Tour events. By the end of the year, Jannik stood at 551st rank.
Soon, he saw success, with the first of his title being ATP Challenger. He grabbed this title at around the age of 17 and half in 2019. He created history to be the youngest Italian to have clinched the title. After this, his rank improved and reached 324. 
Later, in the 2020 Sofia Open, Jannik won his first ATP title by defeating Vasek Pospisil. This also rendered him the youngest Italian tour-level champion in the Open Era and the youngest player to win the ATP title since Kei Nishikori in 2008. All in all, Jannik is progressing towards a brighter future through his excellent gaming.
