Gianluca Mager is an Italian professional tennis player. He started by playing tennis casually at eight years before transitioning it to a professional career at 18.  
In 2020, Mager won the biggest win of his career, attaining number 4 Thiem at the Rio de Janeiro finals 2020. This made him the first qualifier in the 7-year tournament to reach the Rio de Janeiro final in 2020. Thus, as of April 2021, Gianluca is among the top ten Italian male singles tennis players.
Gianluca did not play ITF Junior Circuit as he only started playing professionally at 18 years. Thus, there are no records of his junior achievements. However, he had great support as his then-girlfriend Valentine Confalonieri, who was also a player, coached him.
Despite starting his profession at 18, Gianluca has incredible match records against players who ranked top ten. He also has match records against those who have been at number 1 in the various championships, including ATP World Tour, Davis Cup, and Grand Slam main draw matches.
Mager got his first singles ATP main draw win in Stockholm after playing against Pablo Andujar. He also beat world number 34, Casper Ruud, during the first round of the Rio Open in Brazil in 2020, reaching his first ATP Tour final.
Gianluca Mager was born on 1 December, 1994 in Sanremo, Italy. His parents aren’t involved in sports as they are an insurance agent and secretary. He also has a sister, Erika. Growing up, Mager looked up to Roger Federer, a successful tennis player. When not playing tennis, Gianluca watches football or a movie featuring batman.

Alex de Minaur is an Australian professional tennis player born in Sydney on February 17th, 1999. Although he is relatively young, he is currently ranked on the 15th spot of the ATP singles ranking, making this the highest point in his career. On his professional debut at the Spain F22 in July 2015, he reached the quarterfinals. Since then, he has won 5 titles and has a record of 104 wins and 72 losses.
<ul><li>Alex&#39;s parents are Uruguayan and Spanish, and he has dual citizenship, oddly Australian and Spanish, and plays tennis as an Australian, which makes it even more unusual. </li><li>He currently resides in Sydney and is dating a British tennis player - Katie Boulter.</li><li>His right is his stronger hand, and his preferred move is the two-handed backhand, and Adolfo Gutierrez is his current coach.</li><li>During his career, Alex has played 9 ATP finals, 5 of which he won.</li><li>He favours hard courts, though his latest title came on a grass surface at the Eastbourne International in June 2021.</li><li>The same year, Alex won the Antalya Open against Alexander Bublik, who retired from the match due to a right ankle injury.</li><li>His other three titles came in 2019 when he won the Zhuhai Championships, the Atlanta Open, and the Sydney International.</li></ul>
Alex has played with three different number 1s in his career and has won only against Andy Murray. He lost against Roger Federer at the Swiss Indoors final in 2019 and has played against Rafael Nadal 3 times, losing all of them.
