His coach is Lionel Zimbler, and Antoine turned pro in 2016. In August 2019, Antoine broke into the Top 100 and achieved career-high No. 98. Hoang advanced to the third round of the 2019 Roland Garros in his Grand Slam main draw debut. He defeated Dzumhur and Verdasco and lost to Monfils.
